FUNCTIONAL REDEVELOPMENT OF THE EX-SLAUGHTER IN A BORGOSOTTO LOCATION The project takes shape from the desire to subvert the existing relationship between the Borgosotto district and the former slaughterhouse compendium, so as to be able to give back to citizens a precious urban resource, a new site for important collective functions. Existing volumes are recovered, redeveloped and completed by connecting and filling empty elements; an open and permeable internal soul is thus enclosed, at the center of which stands out and highlights the most important element of the compendium, the former slaughterhouse, capable of qualifying the urban square as a central and living space, open to visitors, full of events and relationships.
