REDEVELOPMENT AND REFUNCTIONALIZATION OF LUNGOMARE RASI-SPINELLI IN CATTOLICA DENOMINATED “CATTOLICA PROMENADE” The urbanized waterfront theme is declared in the research of a new architectural mould of the seafront spaces, where the streets transform themselves into platforms on the beach, creating some real cantilevered squares and lending at the beach-path system urban characteristics of quality and vitality; the beach resorts are consequently remodulated and integrated with the general project. The Kursaal building is reinterpreted at great modern “orangerie” where the green-system, extended into the path, finds his museum-expositive position, while the practicability’s partial burial allows to rebuild the relation with the behind square park.
